Originally hailing from Edmonton, Alberta (GO OILERS!), I am currently residing in Surrey, British Columbia and working at Village Church as our Jr. Youth Associate for our Surrey site. Dylan Friesen
Dylan grew up in Hamilton, ON with his parents and three sisters. During his first year in kinesiology at McMaster University, he felt a strong call to pursue full-time ministry and ended up transferring to Briercrest College where he earned a BA in Biblical Studies. He has a deep passion for studying and teaching the Scriptures and hopes to continue his studies in the future. He currently lives in Caronport with his wife Rachel.
Born in America and living in Canada with a Nigerian heritage, OJTHEDJ is typically fusing different cultures together in an aim to bring unity amongst people. He produces family friendly content mainly directed at youth and young adults. As a DJ for over a decade, I have had the pleasure of doing a plethora of different events; some of the most notable events being Fluid, World of Dance, All Ontario Youth Convention, Warner Brothers, Kingdom Bound, Change Conference and Youth Quake in Saskatchewan. He creates mashups, remixes laughter and low key fire apple pie with the power of God and anime on his side.
AJ Crocker
You may know AJ as the speaker from the YQ at Home video series. AJ has a deep passion for seeing youth and young adults be shaped by the Bible. He grew up in a pastor's family and after spending some time in Toronto and Vancouver, he settled down here in Caronport, Saskatchewan. For 15 years he has lead things like Youth Quake, our high school chapel program, and the Recruitment office. Over these years AJ has also travelled Canada as a youth speaker. He currently serves as the Vice-President of External Relations for Briercrest. A's wife Cheryl is a teacher here at Briercrest Christian Academy and they have 3 great kids. You could also say he likes shoes and the Toronto Maple Leafs
Doug Barr
Fresh from Briercrest College, Doug Barr started work at Ranger Lake in May 2013 as student coordinator. Hailing from northern B.C., he never thought he'd end up working at a camp in Saskatchewan, but God had different plans. One year later, late in the summer of 2014, Doug accepted the camp director position! As such, Doug oversees summer camp including summer missionaries, general camp programming, and discipleship of campers. He loves to teach, mentor, and practices martial arts in his spare time. You'll also see his wife, Alissa, helping around the camp in the summer in various capacities, including teaching artistic painting at Fanatic Camp.
